Why this service
Upholstered furniture collects dust, body oils, spills and pet hair in the fabric and seams. We check the material and its care label first, then choose an upholstery cleaning method that suits it.
For couches, sofas and lounge suites, see couch cleaning. Leather furniture: leather couch cleaning. Beds: mattress cleaning.

Steam cleaning
Upholstery steam cleaning (hot-water extraction) rinses the fabric and extracts dirt, oils and spills from the padding below. It suits most synthetic and blended upholstery fabrics.
Velvet, linen, silk blends and some cotton fabrics can shrink, water-mark or lose their texture with too much moisture. These are cleaned with a low-moisture method instead.
Steam-cleaned upholstery is usually dry within a few hours, depending on the fabric, padding, airflow and weather.
Types of stains
Stains are pre-treated before the upholstery is cleaned. Tell us what the stain is and how old it is when you book.
Coffee, tea, wine, juice and food spills on chairs and cushions.
Darker patches on armrests, headrests and seat cushions from everyday use.
Pet accidents are treated at the source to reduce marks and smells.
Pen and marker marks are treated carefully so they do not spread.
Foundation, lipstick and other cosmetics on bed heads and chairs.
Rings and tide marks left by spills or earlier cleaning attempts.
Every stain is different. Not every stain can be fully removed: it depends on the type of stain, how old it is, the fabric and the age of the furniture. We will give you an idea of what to expect once we have checked it.
